14th Annual Tri-Command Graduation Recognition Ceremony

The Depot Theatre came alive with cheers and applause as the community gathered for the 14th Annual Tri-Command Graduation Recognition Ceremony, hosted by the MCCS Voluntary Education Program. This annual tradition honors service members and DoD civilians who have earned a college degree since June 2024, spotlighting their perseverance and dedication to personal and professional growth.

Families, friends, and coworkers filled the theatre to celebrate each graduate’s achievement. One by one, the honorees crossed the stage in full academic regalia, their hard work and determination shining just as brightly as the proud smiles from the audience.

Colonel Bain, serving as the guest speaker, offered heartfelt congratulations and words of encouragement. He commended the graduates for balancing demanding careers, family responsibilities, and academic commitments—a challenge that requires extraordinary discipline and focus. Colonel Bain urged each graduate to “take what you’ve learned and pay it forward,” challenging them to use their new knowledge to make a lasting impact on their commands, communities, and future endeavors. He also emphasized the importance of continuing to learn and to inspire others by sharing their knowledge and experiences.

The ceremony not only marked the completion of degrees but also celebrated the enduring Marine Corps values of continuous learning and self-improvement. The MCCS Voluntary Education team, along with supportive colleagues and loved ones, ensured the event reflected the significance of this milestone for every participant.
