Documentation Needed to Purchase A Firearm

  • 18 Years of age for long guns (rifles) 
  • 21 + for hand guns (pistols)
  • Valid South Carolina Driver's License
  • Valid Department of Defense Identification Card 
    • CAC with Exchange privileges
    • DoD Retiree Card
    • DoD Dependent with Exchange privileges
    • Veterans Affairs Healthcare Identification Card

Notice: Active Duty Personnel Only

If you do not have a South Carolina Driver's License, you will need a copy of your original/web military orders with state identification.
