MCRD PI Football Field and Track Closure
The MCRD PI Football Field and Track will be CLOSED 13 March, 2025 - 2 May, 2025 for the installation of a new synthetic track surface and striping. Total duration of the closure is expected to be approimately 60 days, weather permitting.
Phase 1 (March 13-17) : Milling and paving
Phase 2 (March 18-April 13) : 28-day cure period
Phase 3 (April 14- May 2) : Synthetic track surface installation and striping

The mission of the MCCS SC Safety Department is to provide a safe and healthy working environment.
Through hazard identification and risk assessment practices, the Safety Department works to achieve sustainable operational readiness where safety is part of day-to-day operations, tactical planning, as well as on and off duty activities.
Our risk management policy is designed to promote shared ownership of the safety program instead of forced accountability for a few.
