Join our community for the MCCS One Community. One Commitment Torch and Flag Run in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Beginning at Covella Pond, the symbolic torch will be carried along the route as Marines join the procession along the way, creating a visible demonstration of unity and shared commitment to preventing domestic violence. Community members, survivors, and those running in honor or memory of loved ones impacted by domestic violence are invited to join the final leg of the run.
The event will conclude at the Command Suite with a closing ceremony, where the torch will be ceremonially extinguished and the purple flag raised as symbols of continued awareness, support, and commitment.
This event is open to all patrons with base access.
