EFMP Fire Station Tour

Explore the Fire Station and Meet Real Firefighters!

 

Join Henderson Hall EFMP for a Sensory-Friendly Firehouse Tour & Special Needs Forum on Saturday, August 8th at the Ft. Myer Fire Station (Bldg. 415, Sheridan Ave., Fort Myer, VA 20319)!

 

Experience a behind-the-scenes tour of the firehouse, meet local firefighters, and explore the fire trucks up close in a sensory-friendly environment with no lights or sirens.

Following the tour, EFMP-enrolled families are invited to participate in a Special Needs Forum to share feedback with community stakeholders about the challenges and needs of families with special needs. Your input will help strengthen services and support for our military community.

 

Open to all ages and all DoD ID cardholders (not only EFMP enrollees). We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations upon request. Please contact us at 703-693-6510 at least one (1) week in advance of the event.
