Science Explorers: World Bird Migration Day

The Santa Margarita River watershed is a globally recognized Important Bird Area, which harbors more than 90 migrating and local bird species. This tour will inlcude a walk along the shoreline to the Santa Margarita River estuary to view migrating birds enroute to breeding grounds that stop to forage and rest.

CLOTHING RECOMMENDATIONS
Wear comfortable clothing for sunny outdoor weather. Closed-toe shoes are recommended for walking on sand, and consider a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen for sun protection.
