USMAP / MCCOOL

Marines will learn about apprenticeship and credentialing opportunities for their MOS to become better at their job while on active duty and be better prepared to transition to civilian employment after leaving active-duty service.

Marine Corps Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (MCCOOL)

Marine Corps COOL provide Active-Duty Marines, Veterans and Spouses a one stop resource to research and locate industry recognized certifications.  Active Duty Enlisted Marines receive 100% funding for qualified certification testing up to six months prior to EAS/Retirement.

United Services Military Apprenticeship Program (USMAP)

USMAP enhances employment opportunities by documenting military job skills and experience through the Department of Labor (DOL) registered apprenticeship program.  Having a DOL Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship is a definite advantage in landing a civilian job at a higher starting salary.
